International Moving

To start the process we will take an inventory of your personal belongings. This can be done over the phone, by fax, email, estimates page form submittal, or in person at your home or place of business, not only does this give us an estimate on time and cost it also gives the opportunity to get to know us. This way you feel as comfortable and confident in our staff as we do. We will talk to you over the phone about all the options you have to ship your belongings overseas. One of our international specialists will inform you of all the import regulations in your desired country as every country is different.

You will receive a printed estimate via email, mail or fax. Our estimates will include a variety of services that fit your individual moving needs. All information regarding your move will be stated with an estimate of cost for each individual service.

For overseas shipments we will consign your goods to our Liaison officer, who works directly with the most reputable shipping lines available guaranteeing the most direct efficient routes.

For door to door service. A container will arrive at your home on a scheduled date and time. Our men will wrap all your furniture using our industry standard materials and methods.We will then load your container, packing carefully to ensure no damage while in transit. The crew will then build a wall inside the container to prevent movement in transit.

When we arrive we will take a detailed inventory of your goods for custom clearance purpose. You will also receive a copy for your own personal files. We will require from you two forms of photo id. and a letter written by you to authorize Roadrunner to ship your goods overseas.

We do provide Door to Door and Door to Port services. Please contact the office to ask about your individual shipping needs. Door to Door service includes normal customs clearance, inland transportation, normal destination service with unpack and normal set up, removal of debris on delivery day, delivery up to 2nd floor walk up or to a building with an elevator.

At the destination port, our agent will clear customs and deliver your shipment to your new home, where a team of professionals will unload, unwrap and set up the contents of the container. Unpacking is also available but we should be informed of your request before shipping.
