"We moved from Saugus to Ft. Myers FL with a stop in Naples to pick up some funriture. Five companies were invited to bid on the move. Two were eliminated due to lack of response and interest. Of the three remaining, Dave at Roadrunner was the only one who would come out and survey the job. The others required and online form to be completed and their estimate is based on this information with no guarrenties on price. Dave came out with enjoyable conversation and professional attitude. His quote was right on although higher than the other two the end results were actually lower. The online form guestimated approximately 2600 pounds of stuff to be moved. Dave was at 4500, which was just about perfect. There were no additional charges and no hidden cost. The day of the move the men came in on time and were very courteous and professional. The respected our stuff as though it were their own. When the furniture arrived in FL Carol was there to receive it. Danny the driver and packer of the truck that left Saugus was there to unpack. What a great feeling to know there was consistancy during the complete move. They worked until 11:30 PM unloading and setting up our new home. Thanks to a great team!"

I'd called around and done a lot of searching online for companies to see their pricing and how they would handle the move. Roadrunner came in under estimate and they movers did a great job. They moved me the same day when they thought originally it would be a two day move (including overnight storage). Danny, Tony, and Paul did a great job moving me out of my new house and into my new home. They were very accommodating with me deciding to change where something went and were worked non-stop. The weather the day of the move was horrible (pouring down rain), but they kept going and didn't mess up my new house at all. I am very happy with the movers and the planner who helped me. -E.L.

"I have had a similarly postive experience as that of some of the other reviewers. I had a crew led by Danny move my 3 bedrooms worth of stuff from Somerville to Cambridge. They were on time, efficient, very careful, and really, really good. Dave was very upfront about the rates, and made a point of having a few more people available if they were needed halfway through the move to get everything done in time. Also, he very generously let me keep some of my furniture wrapped up in his moving blankets after the move as I was have some plastering going on. To sum up, my move all got done in a day, nothing was broken and the price was as advertised. I've heard lots of horror stories about movers in the past. All I can say in response is "Use Roadrunner!"

"I have coordinated six moves with RoadRunner--on behalf of myself, family members and friends and have never been disappointed. Dave, the moving coordinator you will speak to when you arrange your move is personable, takes the time to understand all the details of your move, offers packing tips and make sure that he outlines both your role and his very clearly. Dave makes smart recommendations on packing and the permitting process as well. I have received six accurate quotes for pricing from him and have never been disappointed with the service I received via the phone or onsite during my moves. Two of my moves involved picking up furniture from multiple locations--which I think is a lot to ask. All the movers on my jobs were polite, painstakingly careful and went the extra mile to help out where they could, be it a piece that was hard to move or small extra tasks at the move site. During my most recent move, I was away and my mother was left to be there on moving day when I could not be. Dave checked in with my mom numerous times and contacted me via email to make sure I also knew all the details of the move. He also followed up immediately afterwards to make sure that all way okay. I have used much higher priced movers before thinking I would somehow get premium service, but I believe RoadRunner is a much better value and the quality service is there as well. If you value good service, as I do, you will be very happy with your experience at RoadRunner Moving. I would highly recommend them."
